From Wat Arun: Photographers in Bangkok in the 1860s

In the 1860s, several photographers captured panoramic views of the Chao Phraya River from a vantage point at Wat Arun. This article showcases the work of the most prominent of these photographers–Pierre Rossier, John Tompson, Johann August Sachantler and Francis Chi–and attempts to date and chronologically arrange their individual panoramas.
