Digital Innovations to Develop Learning System for Learning World Cultural Heritage in Buddhist Context

The objectives of this research article are 1) to develop database for learning world cultural heritage in Buddhist context; 2) to develop digital innovations for learning world cultural heritage in Buddhist context; and 3) to public relations and evaluate satisfaction on the digital innovations for learning world cultural heritage in Buddhist context. This research is an action research and mixed methods research combining qualitative research and quantitative research. The qualitative research collected information from key informants which consist of 23 of those involved in Ayutthaya Historical Park, Sukhothai Historical Park, Si Satchanalai Historical Park, and Khamphaeng Phet Historical Park and 5 experts participated in a specific group discussion. The quantitative research collected data from a sample of 400 participants.
The results showed that 1. The development of database for learning world cultural heritage in Buddhist context of 27 historical landmarks in the 4 historical parks consist of 5 components of Buddhism religious sites, religious objects, religious persons, religious services, and religious teachings. These components are divided into 3 paths: (1) Buddha relic cosmology; (2) Maha Satipatthana and (3) the Four Noble Truths; 2. The development of digital innovation for learning world cultural heritage in Buddhist context provided learning materials in 2 forms including electronic book (E-Book) and video clips through 2 learning channels:- YouTube channel and applications; and 3. The public relations and evaluate satisfaction on the digital innovations for learning world cultural heritage in Buddhist context were evaluated for (1) overall satisfaction on electronic book (E-Book) which was found at average 4.44, the highest level (2) overall satisfaction on video clips which was found at average 4.46, the highest level and (3) overall satisfaction on applications which was found at average 4.32, the highest level.
