The Influence of Ancient Chinese Ceramics: Trade and Technology on the evolution of Thailand in the past

n the current era of global economic integration, China and Thailand have proposed the “Belt and Road Initiative” development strategy and the “Thailand 4.0” strategy with the intention of active cooperation and mutual benefit, with a view to building political mutual trust with neighboring countries , Economic integration and culturally inclusive community cooperation. The author summarizes the academic materials on the relationship between Chinese and Thai ceramics and summarizes the evolution of the influence of China ’s ancient ceramics trade and technology spread on Thailand: During the Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties, China had an indirect influence on Thailand. During the Song Dynasty and the Yuan Dynasty, there was more direct technical exchange between the two countries. Then, during the Ming Dynasty and the Early Qing Dynasty, the two countries have changed from competing in the market to unilateral trade dependence. Finally, in the Late Qing Dynasty, they embarked on different development paths. It provides a valuable historical reference for exploring and studying how China and Thailand can better carry out updated and more in-depth cooperation in the ceramic industry in the new era and new background.
