This qualitative research was aimed to (1) to study and analyze the transferring of goldsmith knowledge (2) to synthesize how to precede goldsmith knowledge in sustainable way (3) to review and search for the solution of how to sustain transferring goldsmith knowledge including the collaboration of experts in transferring goldsmiths. The study was conducted using semi-structured interview. Data were analyzed using the content analysis method in order to create data consistency relating to community context.

The result revealed that goldsmith knowledge transferring was implemented via the educational system. For example, the goldsmith knowledge transferring could be delivered through kindergarten, primary, secondary, vocational education, bachelor’s degree. It could also be delivered through short courses, such as in the non-formal education and selective modules in the informal education. In the aspects of social and culture, goldsmith knowledge transferring could be delivered in local level, religious institutions, the grand palace and the academic institutes. In the aspect of economics, goldsmith knowledge transferring could be delivered through the concept of creative economy in order to develop the clusters of the goldsmith and other relevant fields. Thai goldsmith had been passing on their knowledge from generation to generation and had become a national heritage; the foundation of the attainment should be conserved with the participation of individual level, domestic level, societal and local level as well as public sectors, business sectors, industrial sectors including academic institutions, ministries, and local government agencies in order to maintain the existence of the profession among Thai goldsmiths sustainably.
