The paper is a discussion of Thai UNESCO cultural sites (Sukhothai, and Ayutthaya), based both on their historical and tourism master plans. The discussion implies that historical and cultural events determined heritage policies during early 1960s up to now, and they shaped in the Heritage and Tourism master plans of those sites. Those policies lead to gentrification of the heritage, the actual Heritage scape, as well as an educational perspective of the heritage sites.
