This article aims to study the nature and values of the Thai Manuscript Nanthopananthasut Khamluang by Prince Thammathebhesara Chaiyachetsuriyavong, the Heir Apparent to King B romara jadhiraj III of Ayudhaya. The manuscript made the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) register as Thailand’s documentary heritage of the memory of the world in 2015. The results of the study show that although this Thai manuscript is 282 years old now, it is still a fairly complete ancient book in its composition of original Thai manuscripts, compressed Thai letters, structure of prologue, body of content, and epilogue. Moreover, this manuscript carries significant academic value in three fields: literature, paleography, and documentation.
