Nakhonsawan River Watershed: Making Network and Cultural Heritage Management Based on Buddhism

This research paper aims to demonstrate the pattern and guideline of heritage culture network management following the Buddhism approach in Nakhonsawan river basin. The research utilized the qualitative approach and gathered the information by the tool following, survey documents and survey the area. Besides, this research collected the data by dept interview with 20 key informants, focus group discussion with 9 experts, academic seminar with 40 stakeholders and community engagement in order to return the information to 100 stakeholders. Meanwhile, this research provided a descriptive analysis to present the data. The study found that the pattern development and guideline of heritage culture network management following the Buddhism approach in Nakhonsawan river basin contain the 3E pattern and LINK pattern which can be established as E1 = Education, E2 = Engineering, E3 = Enforcement. Along with LINK pattern which demonstrates as L= Learning, I= Information, N= Network, K= Knowledge. Moreover, the guideline of heritage culture network management following the Buddhism approach in Nakhonsawan river consists of 7 main points following, 1. Building knowledge, 2. The Network must have the commons of importance seeking, 3. Raising awareness of the heritage cultural, 4. Creating sustainability with the communities in order to build the networks of the heritage culture, 5. Disseminate the knowledge, 6. enforcement of rules and regulations, and 7. restoration, reproduction and reconstruction.
