Vision :

Stories about the climate crisis visualized in films at CCCL Film Festival will engage, encourage and inspire people, especially the young generation, in Southeast Asia and beyond to act to save lives and the planet before it is too late.

Mission :

Changing Climate Changing Lives (CCCL) Film Festival aims to raise awareness about the climate crisis through the power of short films. CCCL provides a platform for filmmakers, artists and communities in Southeast Asia and beyond to visualize stories relating to one of the biggest global challenges of our times, climate change. CCCL Film Festival organizes an annual festival with an annual short film competition to show case climate short films with the themes of climate change from around the world, as well as activities all year round to expand outreach to youth and communities, and to support capacity development of young filmmakers in Southeast Asia.

Duration and condition for granting :

Open call for film grant proposals is announced in April. (See more info on grant conditions: https://en.ccclfilmfestival.com/grants) CCCL Film Festival also holds an annual short film competition. Open call for film submissions in the annual short film competition is announced in June, and official selections are screened at the flagship festival in Bangkok and other provinces in Thailand in February and online in March.
