San Jittakarn<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Hailed by La Libre Belgique as \u201can inspired and visionary poet,\u201d San won Third Prize and Paderewski Prize at the prestigious Geneva International Music Competition in 2018, one of the most established international music competitions.<\/p>\n

San distinguished himself at the Maria Canals International Music Competition in Barcelona, receiving the Jury\u2019s unanimous medal \u201cUnanimitat Medalla,\u201d and was a semi-finalist at the esteemed Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition in Brussels where his performance of Mozart\u2019s Piano Concerto was applauded by Crescendo Magazine as \u201can unpredictable, touching pianist.\u201d Other awards and honors include Second Prize and Classical Sonata Award at the Shigeru Kawai International Piano Competition in Tokyo, and First Prizes at the Tchaikovsky Memorial Prize Shanghai International Piano Competition, the Oberlin Concerto Competition and the Arthur Dann Piano Competition. San is the first Thai pianist to represent Thailand in the main competition of the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw.<\/p>\n

San appeared at Victoria Hall with Orchestre de la Suisse Romande in Switzerland. Other concerto performances were with Orchestre Symphonique de l\u2019AMAmusique, Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, Oberlin Orchestra, Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra and Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He holds degrees from Oberlin College, The Juilliard School and Yale University. His major teachers include Hung-Kuan Chen, Monique Duphil and Jerome Lowenthal.<\/p>\n

Noa Chorin<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Israeli Cellist holds the position of principal Cellist of the Israel Chamber Orchestra.<\/p>\n

Noa started playing the cello at age 9 with Mr. Uri Chen and later on with Mr. Hillel Zori, with whom she studied her Bachelor of Music at the Buchman-Mehta School of Music.<\/p>\n

She graduated with highest honor for her Master degree with Prof. Josef Schwab and Prof. Stefan Forck at the Musikhochshule \u201cHanns Eisler\u201d, Berlin.<\/p>\n

Since 2005, Noa is a member of the \u201cWest Eastern Divan\u201d Orchestra directed by Daniel Barenboim, who also granted her studying scholarship. There she also holds the positions of assistant principal and principal cellist.<\/p>\n

Noa played with the Staatskapelle Berlin, Germany State Opera, as an academist from 2009 until 2012.<\/p>\n

As an active chamber music performer, she participated in many music festivals in Israel and Europe such as the Chamber music festival of the young outstanding musician unit at the Jerusalem music Center \u201cMishkenot Sha’ananim\u201d, International Cello Congress in Israel, Rolandseck Chamber music festival, The Voice of Music in the Upper Galilee Chamber Music Festival (Israel), \u201cSerenata Berlin\u201d festival (Spain), \u201cVareler Hafen\u201d music festival and Wiesel music festival (Germany); there she also performed as a soloist with the \u201cIsraeli young Kibbutz Orchestra\u201d and \u00a0\u201cWiesel Festival Orchestra”. Lately Noa performed as a soloist with “The Israel Chamber Orchestra”.<\/p>\n

Currently Noa is based in Bangkok, Thailand, where she performs regularly with various chamber music groups and festivals, gives Masterclasses and is a guest lecturer at the Princess Galyani Institute of Music.<\/p>\n
