The Siam Society Library is delighted to extend this invitation to all interested parties to a special event \u201cThe Siam Society Literary Lounge\u201d, a discussion on interesting aspects from resources in The Siam Society Library.<\/p>\n

Dr. Piemsak Hongjamrassilp will lead a discussion about a memoir of the Spanish diplomatic missions from the Philippine Islands to the Kingdom of Siam from April to August 1718 during the reign of King Thaisa. The document was published in Una embajada espa\u00f1ola a Siam en el siglo XVIII<\/em> (1952) by Jos\u00e9 D\u00edaz de Villegas under the Franco Regime (1939 \u2013 1975), a copy of which is held at The Siam Society Library.<\/p>\n
