Śaṅkara Inscription: The Connector of the National History of Indonesia

This   article   aims   to   indicate   the   importance   of Śaṅkara   inscription, Indonesia,  as  a  link  to  the  national  history  ofIndonesia  in  the  classical  period. Śailendra  dynasty  was build  a  great  place  such  as  Borobudur  and  Prambanan. Śaṅkara inscription show the transition of the Śailendra dynasty's religious support from  Hinduism  to  Buddhism.  In  addition,  the Śaṅkara  inscriptions  linked  three important  inscriptions  of  Indonesia,  namely  the  Sojomerto  inscription,  which mentions  the  Selendra  family  of  Javanese  rulers  early,  the  ancestors of  the Śailendra  dynasty  Hindu  religion,  Shiva  sect,  Inscription  of  Canggal,  which  talks about  the  creation  of  the  Shiva  Linga  on  the  mountain  of  LordSanjaya.  The inscription of Kalasan talking about the creation of the temple for Phra Nang Tara who is a female Bodhisattvas in Buddhism The 4 inscriptions show the continuity of  the  family  line  o fthe Śailendra  dynasty  without  separating  Sañjaya  from  theŚailendra dynasty and set up his own dynasty Sanjaya dynasty.
