On 19 February 2025,  His Excellency Faiyaz Murshid Kazi, Ambassador of Bangladesh and Ms Maleka Parveen, Deputy Head of Mission paid a courtesy call to President Bilaibhan Sampatisiri to discuss possible collaborations between the two organisations. Mrs Somlak Charoenpot, Vice President, Ms Chulamanee Chartsuwan, Council Member, and Ms Kanitha Kasina-Ubol, Managing Director also participated in the meeting.

The fruitful discussion included the possibility of co-organising a study trip to Bangladesh, a lecture on Bangla language and literature, a musical performance from Bangladesh and an exhibition of Bangladesh’s textiles.
