After the team of highly skilled artisans with expertise in historic building conservation started working on the biggest restoration project ever being conducted at the Kamthieng House Museum, we would like to share some pictures of the ongoing building elevation work and the wood restoration work at the house.

We truly hope that after the renovation is completed, this superb example of a traditional northern Thai house can continue to pass on knowledge of traditional Lanna architecture and culture while also being a learning centre that can engage both local and international communities.
