Heritage Matters: Put culture first in old town revamps

The Siam Society Under Royal Patronage is delighted to share with you today the seventeenth article from “Heritage Matters”, a monthly series aimed at identifying the challenges and opportunities of cultural heritage conservation published by The Siam Society in the Bangkok Post.

In this article, Khun Sirinya Wattanasukchai discusses the case of The Luenrit Community Project and how it has managed to preserve the architectural heritage of the old community but still struggles to find the appropriate business plan to involve the voices of the tenants and meet the wishes of the inhabitants.
