ห้องสมุดสยามสมาคมฯ มีกำหนดจัดกิจกรรม The Siam Society Literary Lounge ครั้งที่ 1/2024 เรื่อง “อ่านชาดกในมุมมองวรรณกรรมกับสังคม” ในวันเสาร์ที่ 11 พฤษภาคม 2567 เวลา 14.00 – 16.00 น.

ร่วมพูดคุยกับ รศ. ดร. อาทิตย์ ชีรวณิชย์กุล อาจารย์ประจำภาควิชาภาษาไทย คณะอักษรศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย เจ้าของผลงานหนังสือ เรื่อง “ชาดกกับวัฒนธรรมวรรณศิลป์ไทย” เกี่ยวกับแง่มุมต่างๆ ในการอ่านชาดก ความสัมพันธ์ของนิทานชาดกกับสังคม พร้อมชมบางส่วนของเอกสารทรงคุณค่าที่เกี่ยวเนื่อง จากห้องหนังสือหายาก ห้องสมุดสยามสมาคมฯ

In the first edition of this year’s The Siam Society Literary Lounge event, join Associate Professor Dr Arthid Sheravanichkul (Department of Thai, Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University) for a discussion about the reading of the Jataka texts through the lenses of the literature scholars. Participants will also have the opportunity to view a selection of relevant important documents held at our Rare Book Collection.
