“In the Footsteps of Lord Buddha” Exhibition Accompanied by Three Special Lectures

 

To celebrate its 17th anniversary, the Oriental Cultural Heritage Sites Protection Alliance presents In the Footsteps of Lord Buddha, an exhibition held in collaboration with The Siam Society from 21 to 31 October 2025.

Showcasing the work of five international photographers:

  • Brenda Turnnidge (UK/Greece/France)
    • Aparna Jayakumar (India)
    • Mani Lama (Nepal)
    • Antoine Roulet (France)
    • Bernard Grismayer (France)

The exhibition offers a distinctive perspective on ten sacred sites associated with the life of the Buddha.

The exhibition opening will take place on 21 October at 3:30 PM, followed by three special talks in the lecture series Buddhism: Expectation and Reality:

  • 21 October at 4:30 PM – Testimony by Gyanin RAI

on « Promotion, Conservation and Management of the Birthplace of Lord Buddha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Greater Lumbini Area in Nepal »

  • 22 October at 4:30 PM – Presentation by Eric DUBOIS

on « Oriental Cultural Heritage Sites Protection Alliance (OCHSPA): Safeguarding Buddhist Heritage and Fostering Global Dialogue »

  • 24 October at 4:30 PM – Reflection by Venerable Anando

on « Buddhism: Expectation and Reality »
