Programme Officer
Position: Programme Officer
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibility:
The role encompasses communications, public engagement, content development, graphic communication design, and programme coordination, with particular responsibility for supporting the Society’s lectures, cultural activities, and public events.
I. Communication and Public Relations
- Create and manage institutional communications across digital and print platforms, including social media, newsletters, promotional materials, and member correspondence.
- Draft, edit, and proofread formal communications, event announcements, and press materials.
- Design graphic communication materials for social media and promotional campaigns to support the Society’s cultural activities and events.
- Maintain and update the Society’s website through WordPress, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
- Promote the Society’s programmes and activities to members and wider audiences.
- Maintain clear, professional, and accessible communication with members and the wider public.
- Ensure consistency in the Society’s branding and visual identity across all communication channels.
- Conduct outreach activities to strengthen relationships with cultural institutions, academic organisations, embassies, sponsors, and prospective members.
II. Project coordination
- Coordinate logistical and administrative aspects of lectures, workshops, and visiting academic programmes.
- Liaise with academics, cultural institutions, embassies, and partner organisations on collaborative programmes and public events.
- Collect and compile information relating to programmes, projects and activities implemented for evaluation and annual reports.
III. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Managing Director
Qualifications
Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Communication Arts, Cultural Studies, Cultural Management or related fields.
Experience: At least 1–2 years of relevant professional experience.
Nationality: Thai
Technical skills:
- Excellent written and spoken Thai and English.
- Strong writing, editing, and translation skills.
- Excellent administrative skills.
- Strong research, organisational, and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in WordPress, including updating website content, creating webpages, uploading media, and maintaining the Society’s online presence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Basic graphic design skills, including proficiency in Canva for creating promotional and communication materials.
- Photography and video editing skills are an advantage.
Personal skills:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creativity, initiative, and a willingness to contribute new ideas.
- Ability to work effectively with academic institutions, government agencies, cultural organisations, and international partners.
Desirable: Strong interest in and appreciation for arts, culture, history, heritage, and related fields.
