ห้องสมุดสยามสมาคมฯ กำหนดจัดกิจกรรม The Siam Society Literary Lounge ชุด “คลังสรรพ: เปิดคลังเอกสารหายากจากห้องสมุดสยามสมาคมฯ” ครั้งที่ 2 เรื่อง “โปโปล วูค์ ตำนานมายัน กับครั้งแรกในฉบับภาษาไทย” ในวันเสาร์ที่ 24 มิถุนายน 2566 เวลา 14.00 – 16.00 น.

ขอเชิญร่วมฟังการสนทนาในแง่มุมที่น่าสนใจเกี่ยวกับตำนานมายันโบราณ เรื่อง โปโปล วูค์ (Popol Vuh)  โดยวิทยากร รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. ภาสุรี ลือสกุล เจ้าของผลงานแปลตำนานมายันโบราณเรื่องโปโปล วูค์ เป็นภาษาไทยฉบับแรก ร่วมสนทนาโดย พีรพัฒน์ อ่วยสุข เจ้าหน้าที่แผนกพิทักษ์มรดกสยาม สยามสมาคมฯ

พร้อมชมหนังสืออ้างอิงเกี่ยวกับวัฒนธรรมมายันและละตินอเมริกาก่อนยุคอาณานิคมในการดูแลของห้องสมุดสยามสมาคมฯ

The Siam Society Library is delighted to extend this invitation to all interested parties to a special event “The Siam Society Literary Lounge”, a discussion on interesting aspects from resources in The Siam Society Library.

This month, Associate Professor Dr Pasuree Luesakul visits the library to share her latest project – the first of its kind: the Thai translation of Popol Vuh, an ancient Mayan creation myth. This event will be conducted in Thai and will be reserved for only 30 participants.
