The Siam Society Under Royal Patronage is delighted to share with you today the fifteenth article from “Heritage Matters”, a monthly series aimed at identifying the challenges and opportunities of cultural heritage conservation published by The Siam Society in the Bangkok Post.

In this article, Dr Atch Sreshthaputra points out how old buildings are being preserved as a result of our society’s growing awareness of the importance of heritage but sometimes these projects fail because the principles of building science are overlooked.

The full article can be read here.

Atch Sreshthaputra, PhD, is a professor of architecture at Chulalongkorn University.
