Performances
Concerts and performances by local and international artists take place in the Auditorium of The Siam Society, and draw a mixed crowd of members, non-members and students who enjoy excellent performances in a congenial atmosphere.
With support from the Fund for Classical Music Promotion Under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana, a previous Vice-Patron and Honorary President of The Siam Society, classical music concerts are scheduled the most regularly. The Music at The Siam Society series is a collaboration with the Faculty of Music, Silpakorn University, and Pro Musica Orchestra that is now in its tenth year, and continues to bring much pleasure with its chamber music concerts and recitals that occasionally push the boundaries with collaborations with artists of other genres, such as dance.
Dance and other cultural performances also take to the stage on occasion, and these have included Taiko drumming from Japan, Kathak dance from India and Flamenco dance from Spain.
Due to increasing interest in music and cultural performances at The Siam Society, the repertoire is being expanded to include traditional music and dance from Thailand and its neighbouring countries, as well as traditional and contemporary jazz.
Ticket prices: member THB 600; non-member THB 800; student with a valid student ID card THB 300.
